Information we collect
Kiweli collects account details such as name, email address, preferred language, and optional profile details. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic Google account information you approve, such as your email address, name, and profile image.
For shop owners, Kiweli stores shop details, products, prices, promos, images, hours, contact details, QR and flyer links, and subscriber activity. For shoppers, Kiweli stores followed shops, saved promos, notifications, profile preferences, and order-related activity when those features are used.
How we use information
We use information to create accounts, operate public storefronts, display products and promos, help shoppers follow stores, support pickup workflows, send in-app or push notifications, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.
Google sign-in
Google sign-in is used only to authenticate your Kiweli account and prefill basic profile information. Kiweli does not sell Google user data and does not use Google account data for advertising.
Location data
Location permissions are optional. When enabled, Kiweli uses location to help shoppers find nearby stores and to help merchants place shops on the map. You can disable location permissions in your device settings.
Public storefronts and QR codes
Public shop, product, promo, flyer, and QR pages may be visible to anyone with the link. QR links open a Kiweli web page and may redirect to the Kiweli mobile app. Private account information is not included on public storefront pages.
Service providers
Kiweli uses service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database, file storage, and realtime infrastructure, Expo for mobile app services, and Google services for Google sign-in and maps-related features when enabled.
Retention and deletion
We keep account, shop, and activity data while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You can request deletion from the Delete account page. Public store content may remain visible until the store owner removes it or the account is deleted.
Security
We use access controls, authentication, and platform security features to protect account data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep Kiweli data protected.
